About Missy McNeal - The Rescue dog

We found our super dog Missy in Northern Missouri in 2007. The weather was extremely cold, and there was a couple of feet of snow on the ground. She was outside and unprotected from the elements. She had apparently been discarded and left to die by her original owners.

Her ribs were showing through her skin and she had to keep alternating standing on 2 feet at a time because her feet (paws) were so cold. My wife and I couldn't bear to see her misery.

I went to the owner's house and told them I was going to take their dog because she was obviously being mistreated. She has been with us and been one of our greatest joys ever since!

We think she is a Meagle. A cross between a Miniature Pinscher and a Beagle. She weighs all of 15 lbs. but she thinks she weighs about 200 lbs. If you look closely at the top of her head you will see that she has a Peace sign there, although it is fading as she gets older.

Little Miss Observant.

Aside from sleeping, she plays the occasional XBOX game.
